145 sqm · one bedroom · private pool · sleeps up to 3 adults
Villas run from one-bedroom Crusoe pool villas to a nine-bedroom estate, so multigenerational groups can stay under one roof. The Den covers more than 1,365 sqm, with two pools, a water slide and a cinema, and is included for ages 4 to 17. Mantas gather at nearby Hanifaru Bay from June to November.
The verdict
Who it suits, and who it doesn’t.
The seaplane needs you in Malé by 15:30; later Gulf arrivals take a domestic flight to Dharavandhoo and a 10-minute speedboat, with the last flight at 23:15. Crusoe, suite and beach villas all have private pools, and overwater Water Reserves with slides sit alongside the beach villas. Visibility is best from December to April.
Couples who picture overwater living as the default should look at Soneva Jani; anyone after a lively bar scene will find Kunfunadhoo slow and spread out by design.
Getting there
Seaplanes fly in daylight only. Land in Malé by 15:30 · last seaplane 17:00. Land later and we route you via an overnight near Malé or a domestic flight — decided with you before we quote.
