With 13 villas on a remote island at the western edge of the country, privacy is the point. The villa pages show private gyms, spa treatment rooms and ensuite children's rooms, and children stay and dine free. Days can include snorkelling with manta rays, an ocean zipline and dinner at the overwater observatory.
The verdict
Who it suits, and who it doesn’t.
The seaplane takes 75 minutes and needs you in Malé by 15:00; after that, the domestic flight to Kulhudhuffushi (last departure 21:25) is followed by about an hour by speedboat. Sea Lofts are reached by boat, which suits privacy but not guests who like to walk to dinner. Seaplane luggage is limited to 25 kg per person.
Families who want a busy kids' programme, many restaurants to choose from and a short transfer are better served by Soneva Fushi or One&Only Reethi Rah.
Getting there
Seaplanes fly in daylight only. Land in Malé by 15:00 for a same-day seaplane. Land later and we route you via an overnight near Malé or a domestic flight — decided with you before we quote.
