260 sqm total · overwater with private pool · up to 3 adults
Every one of the 68 villas has its own pool and butler, and wellbeing here is structured: guests follow personalised programmes built on four pillars (mind, skin, microbiome, energy) rather than booking one-off massages. The facilities go well beyond a spa, from a hydrotherapy hall and sound therapy hall to an overwater yoga deck, and the MICHELIN Guide awarded it Two Keys in 2025.
The verdict
Who it suits, and who it doesn’t.
Seaplanes fly in daylight only, so anyone landing in Malé after mid-afternoon should budget a night by the airport. The island switched to Island Time (GMT+6), one hour ahead of Malé, from 1 July 2026, which matters when planning prayer times and onward flights. Beach pool villas sit on plots of 503–646 sqm against 230–260 sqm for the one-bedroom ocean villas, and families should look at the two-bedroom villas and residences.
Guests who want a lively bar scene, an all-inclusive plan or a same-night arrival after a late flight should look at Kuramathi Maldives instead; for art and a more social atmosphere under the same owner, JOALI Maldives.
Getting there
Seaplanes fly in daylight only. Daylight only; JOALI lounge at Velana airport before the flight. Land later and we route you via an overnight near Malé or a domestic flight — decided with you before we quote.
