Villas start at 170 sqm over water and 240 sqm on the beach, all with pools, and two-bedroom villas reach 600 sqm. Dining is the draw: Lebanese at Arabesque, a Patagonian grill at Brasa, Maldivian tasting menus at KANDU and a shared beach club at Fari Marina Village. The Footprints Kids Club takes 4–11s at no extra cost.
The verdict
Who it suits, and who it doesn’t.
The standard speedboat takes about 45 minutes, so late arrivals are possible, but ask about charges outside normal hours. Fari Studios (60 sqm, no pool) suit short stays or a nanny, not a honeymoon. The resort gives November to early May as the drier months.
Travellers who want a quiet, single-resort island without a shared marina village and beach club next door. A small stand-alone island such as Milaidhoo Island Maldives in Baa Atoll suits them better.
Getting there
Speedboats run regardless of daylight, so a Gulf flight landing in the evening still reaches Patina Maldives the same night. Resort speedboat from Velana International Airport; transfers outside standard hours can carry a charge. Send flight details at least 72 hours ahead.

Breakfast, check out by 12:00 and speedboat back to Velana International Airport.
Questions we get about Patina.
The resort runs its own speedboat, about 45 minutes from Velana airport, so a same-night arrival is possible. Transfers outside standard hours can carry a charge, so share flight times when booking.
Yes. Footprints Kids Club is included for ages 4 to 11, under-4s can attend with a parent, and babysitting can be booked. Two-bedroom villas sleep four adults and two children.
The resort does not publish halal certification. Arabesque serves traditional Lebanese food, and we confirm kitchen arrangements with the resort before booking.
Rooms come with breakfast, and dinner, lunch-and-dinner, full-board or Taste Journey plans can be added. With nine restaurants and a bar, a dine-around plan makes sense for longer stays.
The resort gives November to early May as the months with less rain.
