What to know before booking
Choose a pool villa: the entry Reef and Sunset Reef villas have a sundeck but no pool. The seaplane runs only in daylight, and the resort arranges a domestic flight for evening arrivals. Dining is compact at about six venues, so a long stay here is about the water rather than restaurant variety.
Who it isn’t for
Guests who want a newer island where every villa has a pool should look at Sun Siyam Iru Veli Maldives in the same atoll, and anyone after a wide choice of restaurants will be happier at Sun Siyam Iru Fushi Maldives.

The seaplane has stopped for the day by then, but the resort arranges a domestic flight for evening arrivals with a boat to the island. All transfers must be booked through the resort, and we handle that.
Yes, the house reef is the resort’s main draw, and sites such as Coral Garden and Turtle Point are part of its snorkelling programme.
Children of all ages are welcome. There is a kids’ club, a children’s pool, babysitting and two-bedroom water villas for families.
For a pool, start at the Beach Villa with Pool or Water Villa with Pool. Reef and Sunset Reef villas are overwater but have no private pool; the Ocean Signature villas add a slide into the lagoon.
