80 sqm · overwater · glass floor panels · lagoon access · 3 adults and 1 child
The short speedboat ride makes it one of the easiest islands to reach after a long flight, with no seaplane timings to plan around. Every villa category except the lagoon and ocean water villas has a private pool, and the Grand Residence gives families two bedrooms over the water.
The verdict
Who it suits, and who it doesn’t.
Choose Reef Pool Water Villas for the easiest access to the house reef. The island has three restaurants, so an all-inclusive or full-board plan suits longer stays; Firedoor is the dinner-only grill.
Travellers who want a large choice of restaurants or a remote atoll far from Malé traffic. Kuramathi Maldives offers far more dining, and Cinnamon Velifushi Maldives is further out.
Getting there
Speedboats run regardless of daylight, so a Gulf flight landing in the evening still reaches Grand Park Kodhipparu the same night. Shared or private resort speedboat from Velana. Send flight details at least 72 hours ahead.
