What to know before booking
The seaplane is 45 minutes but stops flying in the late afternoon; the resort offers a domestic flight and speedboat instead for evening arrivals, which matters for flights from Dubai. Dolphin Ocean Villas are placed for dolphin sightings. Dining is a shorter list than at Iru Fushi, so choose it for the pool villas and simplicity rather than variety.
Who it isn’t for
Guests who want many restaurants to rotate through should choose Sun Siyam Iru Fushi Maldives, and families wanting a waterpark and big kids’ programme will get more from Siyam World Maldives.
