What to know before booking
The seaplane takes about 35 minutes but flies only in daylight, so late arrivals from Dubai either overnight in Malé or take the domestic flight to Dharavandhoo. Board is breakfast-based with half-board offers, not all-inclusive, and SEA and FIRE are the costly nights. Choose a sunset-facing villa for evening light and a family villa or residence if children are travelling.
Who it isn’t for
Travellers who want everything included in one price or a speedboat transfer straight from the airport. For an all-inclusive stay look at Constance Moofushi Maldives; for a short speedboat hop from Malé, Anantara Veli Maldives Resort.

A 35-minute seaplane flight from Malé, check-in at 14:00, then a first swim in the villa pool and sunset from the beach.
Day 2
House reef and SEA
Borrow snorkel gear for the house reef in the morning, then lunch at SEA with the reef on the other side of the glass.
Day 3
Manta trip
In season, a speedboat snorkelling trip to Hanifaru Bay; in the evening, drinks at SKY and a guided look through the observatory telescope.
Day 4
Spa and teppanyaki
A treatment in the over water spa, time at the kids' club or on the tennis court, and dinner at FIRE.

Yes. There are one- and two-bedroom family villas, a kids' club for ages 4 to 12 and babysitting from three months. Note that dinner at SEA is adults-only apart from Monday and Thursday evenings.
The resort sells breakfast and breakfast-and-dinner packages rather than an all-inclusive plan. Drinks and the SEA and FIRE menus are where the bill grows, so we price both options for you.
The resort does not publish a halal certification. Tell us at booking and we will confirm halal meat and alcohol-free villa arrangements with the kitchen before you travel.
