Two islands joined by a bridge give a very wide choice of villas, from a 150 sqm beach villa to the 550 sqm Muraka with an underwater bedroom. Ithaa dines guests about five metres below the surface, and the resort has seven restaurants and a wine cellar, which is a lot of variety for a stay of a week.

Seaplanes fly in daylight only, so a late arrival from the Gulf usually means a domestic flight and speedboat, or a night in Malé. Transfers are priced separately from villa rates. Villa categories sit on different islands with different rules for children, so confirm the island before booking.
