The seaplane is the only way in and flies in daylight, so evening arrivals from Dubai need a night in Malé. The overwater villas were redesigned recently; Sunset Horizon villas face west. With 221 villas it feels like a lively resort, not a secluded hideaway, and the all-inclusive dine-around is the plan that makes the dining range pay off.
Couples wanting a small, quiet island should look at Milaidhoo Island Maldives, and anyone landing late who wants to reach the resort the same night is better served by the speedboat transfer to Sun Siyam Olhuveli Maldives.
