240 sqm total, 100 sqm inside · overwater with private pool · up to 3 adults
Muravandhoo was built around its art, with more than 60 works by international artists placed through the villas and public spaces, and a thousand of the island's trees kept during construction. Every villa has a pool, and the dining runs from Japanese at the floating Saoke to Italian at Bellinis and Levantine at TUH'U, so a week does not feel repetitive. The MICHELIN Guide gave it One Key in 2025.
The verdict
Who it suits, and who it doesn’t.
The seaplane is 45 minutes and flies in daylight only, so late arrivals from Dubai will need a night near Malé, and departures need an onward flight after 09:00. Only bed and breakfast or half board are offered, and Bellinis, Saoke and TUH'U open on selected evenings, so book them early. Beach villas have far larger plots (680–865 sqm) than the water villas (240–280 sqm).
Travellers who want an all-inclusive plan or a quick speedboat arrival after a late flight should look at Kuda Villingili Resort Maldives; guests wanting structured wellbeing programmes will be better placed at sister island JOALI BEING.
